Plasma or LCD?
The technology for LCD and Plasma works in different ways but the advantages are similar. Advantages:

- Wide 160 degree viewing angle
- Clearer sharper pictures
- Less reflection from light
- Better quality less flickering picture
New technologies such as plasma and LCD do not use a Cathode Ray Tube which is why old tvs are so bulky. The way TVs are built now allows them to even be slim enough to be hung on a wall like a painting. As the technology becomes less new the plasma and lcd televisions become more affordable.
